The Project comprises of 4 numbers of trial piles in north-west part of New Territories. 2 test piles being tested for the performance of using new low carbon concrete mix with Ground Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag (GGBS) in typical deep foundation scale & 2 test piles for testing the frictional and bearing capacity of metasedimentary bedrock.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>

Scope of Works<\/span><\/p><\/h2><\/div>

Construction of trial bored piles. Foundations include 2 numbers of large diameter bored piles constructed by Grab, Oscillator and RCD. Then, filled with new low carbon concrete using high dosage of GGBS. 2 piles constructed by Concentric Drilling and then load tested the metasedimentary bedrock capacity with Osterberg\u00ae Cell and kentledge system.<\/p>\n
