Building on the success of our past workshops, we were pleased to partner with Caritas Dr. & Mrs. Olinto de Sousa Integrated Family Service Centre (明愛蘇沙伉儷綜合家庭服務中心) to hold another “Save the Earth” workshop “愛護地球工作坊”. Children and their parents gathered at the centre for a fun and educational day focused on environmental and ocean conservation. The workshop featured a blend of training to spread important sustainability messages, as well as hands-on drawing activities that combined learning and creativity. The young participants’ enthusiastic engagement during the workshop was truly inspiring as they left with a deeper understanding of how to protect our planet.
Following the workshop, a large-scale clean-up event at Ma On Shan Country Park as “Save the Earth” Action “愛護地球大行動” was organized. Dozens of volunteers collected litter and helped preserve this beautiful natural area. It was a meaningful day of community action for the environment. We are grateful to have played a role in these important initiatives to raise awareness and take concrete steps to protect our planet.
After the workshop, everyone enjoyed a wonderful BBQ lunch together. It was a great opportunity for all of us to bond and celebrate our collective accomplishment in making a positive environmental impact. We look forward to hosting more similar activities in the future where we can continue to make more efforts towards constructing a sustainable environment.
