Project Description
This is an expansion project for Wynn Macau. The Project constructs Encore Tower which is an all-suite boutique hotel fully integrated into the existing operations at Wynn Macau similar to Encore Las Vegas. Currently, Wynn Macau has two distinctive hotel towers named Wynn Tower and Encore Tower, which is a landmark integrated resort in Macau.
Scope of Works
Construction of foundations and retaining structures for the Encore Tower, and carrying out TAM grouting as ground treatment to protect the existing Wynn Hotel. Foundations include large diameter bored piles installed with steel stanchions and rock socketed H-piles, while retaining structures include diaphragm walls.
– Larger diameter bored piles: (a) 59 nos., (b) diameter 2m & 3m, (c) max. depth 71m
– Rock socketed H-piles: (a) 30 nos., (b) diameter 610mm, (c) max. depth 60m
– Diaphragm walls: (a) 1.2m thick, (b) excavation area 14,712m2, (c) max. depth 63m
– TAM grouting: (a) 100 grout holes
