Project Description
The Project is one of the West Kowloon Cultural District iconic landmark. Xiqu Centre is the first building of the major development for promoting Chinese Opera – Xiqu.
Scope of Works
Construction of foundations and retaining structures, and carrying out open cut excavation works. Foundations include large diameter bored piles with associated pile caps, while retaining structures include sheet pile walls and pipe pile walls with associated curtain grouting.
– Bored piles: (a) 74 nos., (b) diameter 1.5m to 2.5m, (c) average depth 25.5m, (d) max. depth 37m
– Sheet pile walls: (a) 2,756m2, (b) average depth 11.2m
– Pipe piles: (a) 30 nos., (b) diameter 355mm, (c) average depth 10.8m
– Open cut excavation works: (a) 16,520m3
