Project Description
The Project is one of the West Kowloon Cultural District iconic landmark. “M+” is the new museum forming part of the West Kowloon Cultural District development for visual culture in Hong Kong. It focuses on 20th and 21st century art, design and architecture and moving image.
Scope of Works
Construction of foundations and retaining structures for excavation and lateral support works. Foundations include large diameter bored piles and rock socketed H-piles, while retaining structures include sheet pile walls.
– Bored piles: (a) 70 nos., (b) diameter 2.5m & 3m, (c) depth 50m to 70m
– Rock socketed H-piles: (a) 343 nos., (b) diameter 610mm
– Sheet pile walls: (a) 8,850m2
